Marketing Manager

Part time 3-4 days per week, London/Remote

We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to enrich our growing team. Someone who believes in the power of design to contribute to a brighter future and how it can help create a shared understanding of global issues.

Do you have several years experience working in a communications or marketing role and a proven track record of growing reach and engagement for a design studio or organisation? Are you keen to take initiative and build relationships, expand our network, and strengthen our approach to marketing?

The role

The role will involve keeping up to date with our projects and day-to-day activities, working alongside the design team and founders to help strengthen and grow our profile to generate opportunities that closely align with our mission. Responsibilities will include:

Planning

• Help with refining marketing and content strategies.
• Develop and maintain an ongoing plan for content creation.
• Set KPIs for measuring success.
• Advise the team and founders on best approaches.

Social media

• Responsible for managing and scheduling content production across relevant social channels.

• Research emerging trends and brainstorm ideas with the team to create and maintain a social media calendar.

• Liaise with the design team to manage the creation of visual assets.

• Working with team members to create and distribute thought leadership to help grow our influence.

• Take the lead on writing social posts, and implement design layouts to support our tone of voice.

• Collate case study assets and adapt these for use on social media, looking at specific messages/pullouts.

Website

• Suggest content ideas that will resonate with our audience.

• Work with the team on design and implementation, and advise on SEO strategies.

• Keep case studies current, working with the team to help write them.

Events and PR

• Take the lead on planning, seeking opportunities and promoting our day-to-day activities.

• Work with the team to organise talks and workshops, aimed at both students and prospective clients.

• Build a rapport with journalists in design and client sectors.

• Write and distribute press releases for client projects and key events.
